Reflection:
1. What promise that God has given us means the most to you?
2. What can you do this year to renew your mind?
3. Have you recognized times in your life that you know God was with you even in your fear?
Take some time to reflect on God’s word. Your mind cannot be renewed without knowing the Word of God or digging into what it says. Here are some promises for you to reflect on right now:
● Promise for Wisdom: “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” (James 1:5)
● Promise for Forgiveness: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
● Promise of Faithfulness: “The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” (Deuteronomy 31:8)
● Promise of Your Future: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
● Promise for Provision: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
● Promise for Purpose: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”(Romans 8:28)
● Promise for Salvation: “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
Wow! These are amazing promises to know close to our heart so we can begin renewing our minds. As you spend more time in God’s presence and reflect on His word, you will notice more clarity in your life.
Can’t wait to see how God is moving in your life!
